Title: Reinforced fill
Post by: avscorreia on January 13, 2018, 10:15:57 am
Here's a little script I generated to analyse the staged construction of a 14m high reinforced fill wall with a gabion face. Although there's no interface modeling, the displacement results compare quite well with the results of other FEM software.

I have recently started using this awesome software, thank you Roozbeh!!!!!!

Avscorreia:

Thank you for sharing this script with us. I am new to this software and find I extremely useful running through different scripts to learn the functionality of the program.

I have a question regarding the parameters entered for the strips in your re-inforced earth script.

1. Are these the physical parameters of the geogrid/geofabric ?
2. The geometry used in your script shows a strip thickness of 1m, not sure about this value, does it represent the thickness of the layer or the thickness of the strip?
3. does the model take into account soil settlement from the previous lif or does it calculate the displacement as a complete new total loading after each left?

Hello,

I downloaded the script but the program does not see that script ( Adonis 2.3).

please put the files in the different folder or drive and check again. see if it works. I'm afraid single dot in your name may mess up this.
