reversi,

I just realized some of the Italian texts are too long for Graphical Interface and this might cause some problem in visualization of the GUI. would you please go through the Italian translation and use appropriate abbreviation to shorten these texts to make them in the same order of original texts (i.e. English). thanks.

to ease the translation process, I did simplify the xml file and removed the duplicate texts. I hope that help. please check the latest package in Download page.

Here is the file with the lenght fix

Some minor changes in translation to shorten some text.

In my opinion there is a redundancy in Beam Element Properties , why not leaving only the two check boxes without the Yield Strenght part?

I mean
X Plastic moment [F*L] [Value]
X Plastic yield strenght [M/LT2]
Tens. value
Comp. value.

bye bye

FIXED

in my opinion, it was better the old format of the translation file.

for different reasons:
- the same word in english can have different translations in italian so, if you group, say, the word "solve" every time you encounter it, the italian translation could not be adequate every time with the same word;
- the old format gave the possibility to know where a string was used (i.e. mainwindow, commandpanel, and so on), so the translation, depending of the context of use, could be different from the literal correspondence and based on the meaning; this way is more difficult to understand where a string is used (and in the future, with more strings, it will be even more difficult).

in the current italian localization (v1.1.2 of adonis), occurs to replace this lines:

<source>Discretize/Mesh the Model</source>
<translation>&gt;Discretizza/Mesha il Modello</translation>

with:

<source>Discretize/Mesh the Model</source>
<translation>Discretizza/Mesha il Modello</translation>

due to redundant &gt;

maybe you've done it in the localization file, but not in the software, as you can see in the attached image.

updated italian localization in the attached file.
please, before to include it in the software, pay attention to letters like à, è, ì, ò, ù.

thanks, apparently google translate does not distinguish the different and I myself do not have the lingual knowledge to do so. thanks again I'll make the changes in the next release.
