I just installed the program and when I run it, even as an administrator, it doesn't run at all. Any solution?
Thank you.

it usually happens when anti-virus blocks the program. please download the portable version and make sure the folder or exe file is trusted by anti-virus. Give it a try and let me know.

Hi
I tried to use the portable by adding it to exclusion in my anti-virus program setting but it didn't work. Finally, I uninstalled the anti-virus program and tried again. But no luck. I tried to run the C directory, EXE file, and Portable EXE files without an anti-virus program. It didn't start at all.
Thank you.

I have Win 10 & 11 and it works in both of them. I also checked with some other users and they don't have this issue as well.
did you re-download the portable file? if not please download once more and give it a try.
do you get any error messages?

I used the portable one and it didn't run at all. Now, I installed the Windows 10 1903 version on another machine. The first app I installed on the new Windows 10 machine was Hyrcan 2.0.1. I got the attached message. Reinstalled the Hyrcan 2.0.1 but the problem didn't resolve. I used the portable one and got the same problem.
Thank you.

thanks for the detail comments. I checked it online and it seems like a common issue in older Win 10 and Win 7. I'll look into it to see if I can fix it. Meanwhile go to /exe/Python-39-32/ folder and copy the vcruntime140.dll file and paste it into exe folder (where HYRCAN.exe is located) then rerun the program and see whether issue goes away.

Thank you for the support. Here's another thing I noted while extracting the portable file. Please see the attachment.

An update. I just copied the file from python 39-32 and pasted it into the EXE folder. The program didn't run at all, even running as an administrator.
Thank you.

I quickly installed an old version of Win10 in virtual machine and could recreate the exact issue you talked about. I also realized that if the same issues will disappears in the latest version of Win10.
The issue is coming from the compatibility of Python 3.9 and old windows. In couple of hours I'm going to release a new version of HYRCAN to address the issues but if this does not work I'm afraid there is no choice but to upgrade your windows to the latest available version.
