Title: Deep Excavation Supported by Sheet Pile (or retaining wall)
Post by: Roozbeh on January 23, 2017, 08:19:02 am
here is the script for simple example that illustrate the simulation of a deep excavation supported by sheet pile. please go through the script and run it block by block to understand the concept. please let me know if you need further information.

thanks for this script.
please insert script line for external load, for example -20 kN/m2.
how to see results for excavate -1,5 and -5,0.
thank you very much.

Hi. I'm new to Adonis but it seems very good. Can anyone advise how to model a tubular pile? I want to load the pile laterally and see the deflections to understand the depth of fixity. Many thanks in advance and hope to become as proficient as you. Regards Ricardo

Hi Rick,

there is no different between Sheet pile and tabular pile in terms of numerical simulation in ADONIS. you can similarly use the beam elements but this time with structural properties corresponding to tabular pile and the rest would be the same.
