Title: CWFS in Adonis
Post by: R.abed on February 01, 2025, 03:03:43 pm
Hello Mr. Roozbeh,

I am doing a research about the CWFS in ADONIS. Do you maybe have a published paper about the development or something other literature to read about it and the feature? I also would be interested if you have a simple example of a tunnel where you have tried it.

Thank you!
Rebecka

Hi,

I don?t have a tutorial for this. You?ll need to rely on your own knowledge and research to figure it out. There are plenty of similar examples available online?I recommend checking out FLAC examples (Strain-Softening/Hardening models), as the concept is the same, though the commands and scripts may differ.

Hello again,

First of all, I want to thank you for your quick reply! This helps me a lot because my work will be finished soon.
Is it okay if I state in my Master?s thesis that the CWFS in your program ADONIS is related to the program FLAC2D?

If that?s okay, I will include it. Thank you
Rebecka

Hi,

Yes, nearly all constitutive models in ADONIS are based on Itasca's programs to ensure compatibility and allow users to develop their own models in C++, similar to FLAC/UDEC etc.
