Title: Hyrcan Ver 3 not recognising older files

Hi

I just installed the new version of Hyrcan (ver 3.0 - 2025), but realised that I cannot open the old data files created by the previous version. Is there any way I could use my old files? I don't want to start everything from scratch.

Hi,

Unfortunately, this is not possible. That?s why I always recommend using scripts instead of saving binary files. One possible solution is to open the files in the older version, export the scripts, and then use those scripts going forward. Binary files are not very stable, as their internal structure can change from version to version until it becomes stable.
