Title: Bug with slices visualization out of the sliding limits (and calculation?)
Post by: Giovanni S. on March 03, 2026, 11:34:15 am
Hello,

I am contacting you for a bug I have encountered by performing a (trial) slope stability analysis.
The identified minimum sliding surface is very surficial.
By clicking on "Show Slices", HYRCAN shows slices outsdide the limits defined for sliding surfaces (??).
Please, have a look to attached image.

It does not seem just a graphical issue because forces are computed for slices out of the limits.
Could you please provide some support?

Thank you.

Giovanni

Hi Giovanni,

Could you please upload the script associated with this model so I can reproduce the issue on my end?

Hello Roozbeh,

have you got any possibility to analyze what I have sent you?
