today I just installed ADONIS in Windows 7 both 32 and 64 bit and it worked fine. unfortunately could not recreate the error. I need to spend more time on this and maybe by change end up getting the same error later on.

another solution for you might be upgrading your windows using latest updates available in Microsoft web page.
