Problem with version 2.75 [Solved] on: January 19, 2020, 11:34:19 am
Hi Roozbeh,

Since I installed the latest version 2.75 (I was using 2.5 before) I have the following problem:
The scripts that were running well in the old version are not converging any more.
It looks like units are wrong. I was using user-defined units (metres, kN)
I send you an example of a concrete retaining wall that was running fairly well in the previous version I was using but now it is not converging. Is something have been changed in the units?

I tried to translate the program in Greek some months ago but I didn't had time to finish it due to effort in my work.
Now that the program version has been changed, do I have to move the translation to the new XML files?

Thanks,
George Nikolaidis

Hi George,

Thank for the comment and script. As you experienced there was a bug in the beam element subroutine which is fixed in the new release. please go ahead and download the latest version (i.e. 2.75.2) and let me know if issue still exists.

regarding the translation, you don't need to change the version I have created a code that can transfer all the translated text to new version since most of them are similar. there might be some additional ones that I can ask you via email. so please continue with whatever version you are working with.
