Hydraulic fractures(Read 31554 times)

Hi everyone. I'm new in this arena, so apologizes if I ask too simple questions. I've been looking to model complex geometries to simulate and build a 3D grid consisting of a series of complex connected fracture network to simulate oil and gas unconventional reservoirs (shale oil scenarios). I do have a commercial software to model the dynamic part once I have the static grid, so I would like to create a "representative" model of shale layered source rock and its interaction with hydraulic stimulation processes. Any hint if I could do it in Adonis and then maybe export the grid?

you can generate 2D triangular mesh using ADONIS and most definitely can export the nodes coordination and their connectivity as a text file. but the rest is up to you to figure out how to create 3D elements out of 2D mesh.
