Base Shear and Normal Force for Slices(Read 23163 times)
Base Shear and Normal Force for Slices on: September 19, 2023, 04:22:15 am
Dear Sir,

We are just going through the calculations for each slice and we could observe that the base shear and normal force should be Wsin(alpha) and Wcos(alpha) where W is the weight of the slice and alpha is the angle of slice base. However, this is not matching in a particular example. Can you please clarify this?

Hi, unfortunately I have no clue what example/tutorial you are talking about. Please clarify your problem and also share some scripts.
