API scripting Adonis.exe using python (or others)(Read 202 times)
API scripting Adonis.exe using python (or others) on: November 19, 2025, 05:14:52 am
Hello,

I want to run a simulation with Python and JavaScript code without running the Adonis user interface.

I tried to launch JavaScript code using PowerShell instead of the Adonis GUI.

Today, I managed to open Adonis.exe using the Windows command shell, but it was impossible to select and load a script (.ajs).

Is this feature available as of today? If not, is it an upcoming feature?

Thank you for your help.

Hi Bokra,

Your observation is valid. Unfortunately, there?s currently no way to run ADONIS/HYRCAN directly from the command line. And to add to that, there are no plans to implement this capability, as there are many other modules that still need to be incorporated and my availability is limited.
